After taking some time off of the gym and a solid 6+ months away from squatting or lifting heavy I am just starting to get back into strength training.  I started with a 1rep max attempt on squat, bench and deadlift to see where I am at.  I was able to muster up a 300lb squat, 205lb bench and a 365lb deadlift.  Pretty disappointing considering I was able to squat 315 for 6 reps earlier in the year and I’ve pulled 465lbs on deadlift before.  My bench sucks regardless.  That total comes up to a measly 870lbs.  I am going to see how quickly I can get it over 1000lbs again.  I will attempt to record at least one set of all my workouts in my ‘starting from the bottom’ series.  Follow me on Youtube to see how I progress.
