Have you ever wanted people to think your basic Audi A4 is actually an Audi R8 supercar? Well now you can fool them! Just kidding.
For myself, debadging a vehicle is about creating a cleaner smoother look to the vehicle while also making it look more custom and different. It’s not meant to fool someone into thinking I have a different vehicle.
I’ve seen a few debadging videos and how-to’s and thought I would attempt to do it myself on my Audi A4.
Have a look at my before and after pictures and check out my video on Youtube at the bottom of this page. I don’t have a before picture at the same angle, but you get the gist. I removed the A4 badge on the left side and the TFSI quattro badge on the right side. Let me know what you think in the Youtube comments!
The best part about debadging your vehicle is that you can do it without spending any money, if you have a a couple items lying around your house.
Things you need:
- Hair Dryer or Heat gun
- Floss or Fishing line
- I used some WD-40 to help get the glue off but just scraping it with your nail works fine and does most the work
- About 30 minutes
